About This Race
The Rail Trail 10K Race is run entirely on the paved New Haven / Northampton Rail Trail in Hamden, CT with no cars and no street crossings. The flat, out-and-back course runs through fall's natural beauty and serves as the 2026 RRCA Eastern Region Championship. All entrants receive tech shirts and custom finisher medals, with transponder timing and live-streamed results.

Hydration Support
Poland Spring Water & Gatorade Endurance at Miles 2.4 and 3.6, and at the finish line for finishers.
Awards
Custom awards to the Overall Top 3 Men and Women and top 3 in all 5-year divisions (5-9 to 80+), based on gun time.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Race day: 7:00am Registration and Bib/Shirt Pickup Opens, 7:45am closes. Bring photo ID.
