Dragons in the Woods

Dragons In The Woods is in its 13th season!  We are excited to be back in 2026! The race will again be run on the majestic trails of Birchfield Park, in Holt. This challenging trail run is great for the seasoned runner or for families who want to walk/run together. All proceeds from the race benefit Island City Academy, a charter school in Eaton Rapids. Come out and join us Saturday, October 17th and compete for your chance to win one of four, awesome trophies!

Pricing - $25 until 10/04, then $30 until 10/16. Be sure to register early for a great discount and to be guaranteed a race shirt! T-shirts are guaranteed until 10/08, supplies available as they last after that date. 

Group/Family pricing available - Sign up to 4 participants for only $85 until 10/04. Price increases to $95 from 10/05 until 10/16.

Awards for the Overall and Masters (40 and up), male and female. Pint glasses to the top three male and female in each age group.
Age groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61 and over.

Packet Pick-up will begin at 8:00 am day of the race

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and live on this website.
