About This Race
The Fourth of July Freedom Four Miler is a 2nd annual road race in East Longmeadow, MA. The race takes place immediately before the Annual East Longmeadow July 4th Parade, sending runners through the same fan-filled streets. Substantial prize money is awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with a special bonus for the runner finishing in 250th place in honor of the United States' 250th birthday. A 60-minute course cut-off applies to coordinate with the parade schedule.
