About This Race
The Trot Against Poverty 5K is a professionally-timed Thanksgiving Day race for runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages at Riverside Park in Vero Beach, Florida. Now in its 19th year, the event raises funds and awareness for the nonprofit United Against Poverty. The 5K starts at 7:30 am and is followed by a free sweet potato pancake breakfast and awards ceremony. A free children's quarter-mile race for ages 6 and under starts at 7:15 am.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup November 24 and 25, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the UP Center, 1400 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Packets can also be picked up on race day at the Packet Pick-Up Pavilion in Riverside Park.
