About This Race
Roll & Stroll for Independence is an inclusive 5K run/walk/roll held during the Disability Proud Festival at Lake Pacawa Park in Plover, WI, put on by Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC). The event invites participants of all abilities to run, walk, roll and stroll around scenic Lake Pacawa in support of disability rights, culture, and community inclusion. Adaptive equipment is provided on-site through a partnership with myTEAM TRIUMPH. After the walk, participants enjoy adaptive kayaking, live entertainment, local food vendors, and community resources.
