About This Race

Leah's Legacy is an annual 5K Run, Walk, and Kids Fun Run held in Charleston that honors Leah Strickland and invests in local students. Now in its 4th year at City Center at Slack Plaza, the event has welcomed nearly 2,000 participants and raised over $100,000, funding $12,500 in scholarships for five local students. More than 800 participants are expected in 2026 for an evening centered on community, remembrance, and celebration.
