About This Race
The Angie Gioiosa Memorial Race is a 4th of July tradition in downtown Altoona, PA that has been a community favorite for 50 years with over 1,000 participants. It offers a 15K run, a 5K certified run, and a 2-mile walk, with races started in waves from the Mishler Theatre. Runners and walkers enjoy courses designed for all members of the family.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Water stations at approximately 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 8 and 8.5 miles on the 15K; 5K stations near Altoona High School and on 7th Street
Awards
Medals awarded to Top 3 Overall (Male & Female) in 15K & 5K Run, and top overall finishers in age categories; 2M Walk awards top overall finishers in age categories.

Packet Pickup
July 3, 11:00am to 6:30pm at the Mishler Theatre; race day pickup 6:30am to 7:30am beside Center City Church, Altoona, PA
