About This Race

The Run for Refuge 5K Run & Walk is a community event at Marcellus Park in Marcellus, New York, hosted by David's Refuge to support caregivers of children with special needs or life-threatening medical conditions. The 5K run and walk start at 8:00am, with a free Kids Fun Run at 9:30am, and proceeds raise funds for rest, wellness, and community support. In 2026 David's Refuge will serve over 1,000 families through respite experiences and wellness opportunities.
