About This Race
The Defender of Men 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is held at Matheson Park in Taylorsville, North Carolina. The event benefits Shai Ministries, Inc., a faith-based nonprofit addressing homelessness and poverty in Taylorsville and surrounding counties. Proceeds help build a centralized Resource Center for impoverished and unhoused neighbors. The race includes a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run with overall awards.
