About This Race
The Heartland Bank and Trust Independence Day 5K is held at Nichols Park in Jacksonville, IL. Registration opens at 6:30 AM, the 5K run and walk begins at 7:30 AM, and a Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run for those 12 and under starts at 8:15 AM. Timing and results are provided by Final Lap Racing. The race is held regardless of inclement weather.

Awards (5k only) given to the top 2 male and female finishers overall and masters, plus age categories; all fun run finishers receive an award.
