About This Race
Dog Days of Summer is a beachfront run at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, CA, offering 5K, 10K, 10 mile, and half marathon distances on an out-and-back course along the beach path. The dog-friendly event includes a doggie dash after the 5K with race photos and treats, supporting nonprofit partner K9 Kismet. The course features a stocked water station at Belmont Pier and a finish line aid station. All finishers earn a race medal and race photos are free.

All finishers earn a race medal. 1st place medals are given to the overall 1st male and female in each distance.

Friday 4-6:00pm early bib pick-up on the 2nd floor at Sports Basement Long Beach; Saturday 6:20am bib pick-up opens.
Medical Support
