About This Race

The VFI July 4th Freedom Run/Walk is a relaxed, family-friendly fun run in Waverly, Iowa, starting at Kohlmann Park with a scenic 1-mile loop. Participants choose to complete 1, 2, or 3 loops at their own pace and each carries an American flag during the run. There is no official timing or medals, and proceeds support the Veteran Flagpoles Initiative.
