About This Race

Mitchell's Mountain 5k Trail Race + 1k Dash for Hope is a benefit trail race in Fayetteville, Arkansas creating a new trail on Kessler Mountain. The 1k Dash for Hope starts first to celebrate families and individuals affected by disability, followed by the 5k Trail Race. Proceeds support Mitchell's Mountain, which serves families affected by autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

5k Trail Race 5K
The 5K will follow the completion of the 1k Dash for Hope where we will briefly honor and cheer for the families and individuals that completed the race. The 5k will start near Outfield Trailhead and climb through Kessler Mountain, looping back to the start (updated map coming soon!)

1k Dash for Hope 1K
The 1k Dash for Hope takes place on an adaptive trail and will allow autism families and families with other I/DD to participate together while still offering an outdoor trail experience with some slight incline and is a walk/jog/run/shuffle event. All speeds are welcome! The dash will start at Outfield Trailhead, go out Judge Cummings Road and come back the same trail (out and back).
