About This Race

The Choose Joy for Melina 5K supports the Melina Michelle Edenfield Foundation, whose mission is to find a cure for pediatric brain tumors. The foundation raises money and awareness and partners with others to fund research and development of treatments. The event honors the memory of Melina Michelle Edenfield, who died of a Diffuse Midline Glioma at age four.
