About This Race

Mitchell's Run Thru Rockford is an annual 5K run/walk to raise money for Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. The USATF certified course runs through historic downtown Rockford and along the Rogue River with accurate splits at each mile. MRTR donates 100% of race fees and pledges raised to PPMD and has raised over $1.3 million since 1998. A Kids for Kids Fun Run is also held with finisher medals, t-shirts, and post-race ice cream.

The race begins on the Bridge Street Bridge over the Rogue River at the Rockford Dam and ends on N. Squire St. Late registration after August 17, t-shirt size cannot be guaranteed.
