About This Race

The Polk County 4-H Clover Dash 5k honors former Polk County 4-H Youth Coordinator Joy Niklasen, who died in 2014. An annual 5k began in summer 2015 to support healthy living in her memory. All proceeds go directly to Polk County 4-H'ers in the form of scholarships and grants. The event is planned and organized each year by a committee of County Council youth with Polk County 4-H staff.
