About This Race

The Annual OVL Cape Cod 5K Championship Road Race, known as Run for the Library, is a road race supporting the Osterville Village Library in Osterville, Massachusetts. It takes place on Village Day with an 8:00 AM start in front of the library. Medals are awarded for the top three in each age category for male and female.

2026 OVL Cape Cod 5K Championship Road Race - "RUN FOR THE LIBRARY" - Adults 5K
First 200 to register in person will receive a gift. The Race is on Saturday July 18th; starts begin at 8:00 AM. Pre Registered runners can pick up their bib numbers on July 17, 2026 between 8:30 and 5:00 p.m. or between 7:15 and 7:45 a.m. on the day of the race. NOTE: Registration ends promptly 7:45 a.m. on July 18th 2026 The library is not responsible for race results for anyone who does not register and CHECK IN before 7:45 a.m. Thank you.
