About This Race
The O'Neal Memorial Cherry Festival 5k Run/Walk takes place in North East, Pennsylvania, with a 9:00 AM start at Gibson Park. Known as The Sweetest Race, it is a family event with all-you-can-eat ice cream sundaes served after the race. Proceeds benefit the North East High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Debbie and Laurie O'Neal and the North East High School Cross Country Team.

Awards
Prizes for overall 5k walk and 5k run winners in male and female divisions. Individual male/female 5k run age group awards: 80+, 70-79, 60-69, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 10-13, Under 10. Remaining prizes raffled by bib number.

North East High School Scholarship Fund (in memory of Debbie and Laurie O'Neal) and the North East High School Cross Country Team
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is in Gibson Park at the maroon tents near the start/finish line. Packet pickup will begin at 7:30am.
