About This Race
A Race for the Rest of Us is a 0.5k run/walk hosted by Senior & Disability Services in Springfield, Oregon, with both in-person and virtual options. The whimsically short half-kilometer event raises money for the Senior Meals Program, which provides food to Lane County seniors. Every participant receives a T-shirt, finisher's medal, and race sticker. The course is flat concrete sidewalk and is welcoming to walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs.
