🧱 THE FESTIVALThe Midnight Sun Endurance Festival is a two-day test of endurance, strength, and grit set in the Alaskan wilderness.
From ultra-distance run and ruck events…
to strength competitions…
to last-one-standing battles on the mountain…
This is not a single race.
This is a proving ground.
Compete in one event—or stack multiple and push your limits.
🟢 DAY 1 — ENDURANCE + RECKONING
🏁 Mass Start — 8:00 AM

⚔️ TOUGHEST ALIVE: THE RECKONING
A hybrid test of:
Strength
Running
Mental toughness
Athletes will:
Complete required lifts
Head out on their assigned run
Return to finish with a final test of grit
Waves:
8:30 AM — Level 4 (50K) + Level 5 Reckoning (100K)
9:00 AM — Level 3 (25K)
9:30 AM — Level 1 (5K) + Level 2 (10K)

🎒 LAST RUCKER STANDING — 12:00 PM
One loop.
One standard.
No finish line.
Athletes will complete repeated loops under a fixed time standard.
Miss the cutoff → you’re out
Quit → you’re out
👉 Only one rucker remains.
🏋️ POWERLIFTING COMPETITION — 5:00 PM
A pure test of strength:
Squat
Bench
Deadlift
Step up. Lift heavy. Put your name on the board.
🌙 OVERNIGHT
The race doesn’t stop.
Endurance athletes continue through the night.
The field thins.
The real test begins.
🔥 DAY 2 — MOUNTAIN + TEAM COMPETITION
🚵 MTB RELAY — 6 HOUR ENDURANCE (8:00 AM)
Grab your crew and ride.
Teams of 2–4 riders take on a fast, flowing ~3–4 mile loop.
One rider on course at a time
Riders rotate each lap in the transition zone
Teams choose their strategy
👉 Most laps in 6 hours wins
Expect:
Constant action
Fast transitions
Strategy and teamwork
Race hard. Recover. Send your teammate back out.
⛰️ BLUEBERRY KNOLL — LAST ONE STANDING (10:00 AM)
One mountain. One loop. One survivor.
A brutal ~3 mile climb and descent with ~1,500 ft of vertical gain.
Every 75 minutes, athletes must return and go again.
Miss the start → you’re out
Fall behind → you’re out
Quit → you’re out
There is no finish line.
Only the next loop.
And then the next.
Until only one remains.

8:00 PM (Sunday) — 12 Hour Ends
8:00 AM (Monday) — 24 Hour Ends
8:00 AM (Tuesday) — 48 Hour Ends
