About This Race

4 Miles to Freedom is a trail race in Bigfork, Montana, starting and finishing at Lake Baked. The course follows a double track trail with a little pavement that winds along the Swan River in northwest Montana. All proceeds go to a campaign fundraiser to create a retreat helping veterans and civilians with TBI and PTSD through education in cold plunging and heat therapy.
