About This Race
Steve's Run is the 52nd running of an original road and trail race held in Downtown Dowagiac, Michigan, in the fight against cancer. The course takes participants through paved roads, a golf course, a cemetery, and the Southwestern Michigan College wooded trails. Offered as a 5K run/walk, 10K run, and family fun run, proceeds are split evenly between cancer research and the Steven Briegel Scholarship. Over $180,000 has been raised in the last 16 years.

Medals to the overall men and women winners in the 5K and 10K, plus top three male and female in age groups (14 & under through 70+)

July 16 from 5-6:30pm at Charles O. Zollar Building at SMC; July 17 (Race Day) from 4-5:30pm at Dowagiac Train Depot.
