About This Race
The Campbell County YMCA Firecracker 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 at 8:15 a.m. at the Ft. Thomas Mess Hall in Fort Thomas, KY. The course begins in Tower Park behind the Mess Hall, proceeds north on Ft. Thomas Ave. to a turnaround at Highlands High School, and returns to Tower Park. Commemorative medals go to the first 600 finishers, with division and overall awards plus patriotic costume prizes. A free kids fun run for children under 10 is also held.

Packet pickup July 2nd and 3rd at the Campbell County YMCA; race day pickup starts at 7 a.m. in the Mess Hall.
