About This Race

The Rain Day 5k is a long-running race in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, that has been held for over 45 years. It is paired with the Rain Day Festival held in Waynesburg every July 25th and is currently hosted by local youth running programs. Proceeds from the 5K support all of the cross-country teams in Greene County. The event also includes a kids mile race for ages 12 and younger and a 5K walk.
