About This Race

Happy's 5000 is a family fun 5K hosted by the Happy's Running Club in downtown Baton Rouge, raising money for Keep Tiger Town Beautiful. After the 5K, participants and spectators enjoy a competitive Beer Mile and a festive costume contest. The event wraps up with southern cooking and beverages in Town Square.

The first 250 people who sign up for the 5000 will receive a BAW tank top.

Awards

Saucony-sponsored prizes: top 3 males and top 3 females get free Saucony shoes, winners 4-10 get a Yeti cup; prizes for top finisher over 70 and over 80, top male and female beer mile competitive runner, and costume contest winners.
