10K Trail Run 10K
Registration/Check-in: 11:15 AM -11:35 AM Bus Leaves at 11:50 AM Take the challenge of the 10K Trail Run. The timed run is on forest trails with some breath taking climbs, but the beauty of the trail makes the climb worth the effort. The course finishes with a fast 1/2 mile of downhill back to where it started. PLEASE NOTE: This is a RUN ONLY. If you would like to walk, please select one of our walk events.

5K Trail Run 5K
Registration/Check-in: 10:50 -11:20 AM Bus leaves: 11:35 AM Challenge yourself with the scenic 5K Trail Run. The timed run is on forest trails with some rolling climbs, but the beauty of the trail makes the climb worth the effort. The course finishes with a fast 3/4 mile of downhill. PLEASE NOTE: This is a RUN ONLY. If you would like to walk, please select one of our walk events.

6 Mile Walk 6m
Registration/Check-in: 9:30 -10:00 AM Buses leave continuously between: 10:00 -10:30 AM The 6 Mile Walk starts on a forest road then onto a rugged trail. After following and crossing a short section of paved road, the trail continues onto more rugged terrain until it passes through the South Branch Aid Station at 4.5 mi. to go. A cutoff time of 1:30 PM WILL BE ENFORCED at Reddy Road Aid Station at approximately 4.5 mi. to go. Anyone coming through after 1:00 PM will be asked to be shuttled to the finish line for their safety. To make the cut off you must cover at least 2.5 miles per hour. With still some tough terrain in the last 4.5 miles it would mean the participant could not make the finish line before 3:00 PM at the earliest and we will be running out of busses and food by that time. Because the aid station is only 1.5 miles into the 6 mile hike, this is rarely an issue for this event. Please note that there will be a registration cap for this event. Be sure to register early.

Registration/Check-in: 7:40 -8:00 AM Bus Leaves: 8:15 AM Welcome to the RidgeWalk’s most challenging trail! Push yourself or casually walk this magnificent trail. It features steep, rocky, and sometimes wet sections, as well as significant climbs and descents of 800 feet or more. The reward is the awesome beauty on a clear day while negotiating wild, remote and challenging footpaths that wind you slowly northeast to the finish line. Extra hydration is a must, so carry a bottle of water; but don’t worry; 6 aid stations will be along the way! Anyone coming through after 1:15 PM will be asked to be shuttled to the finish line for their safety. To make the cut off you must cover at least 2.5 miles per hour. With still some tough terrain in the last 4.5 miles it would mean the participant could not make the finish line before 3:00 PM at the earliest and we will be running out of busses and food by that time. 9 Mile Walk 9m
Registration/Check-in: 8:45 -9:15 AM Bus leaves: 9:30 AM The 9 Mile Walk covers forest trails and footpaths, and is designed for experienced walkers and hikers only. The course climbs 800 feet in 3 miles and gradually rises 200 additional feet before leveling off. This course can be challenging and somewhat rocky. The prettiest and most remote areas in Alma Township are featured in this walk. Be prepared to spend up to 3 hours on the trails. A cutoff time of 1:30 PM WILL BE ENFORCED at Reddy Road Aid Station at approximately 4.5 mi. to go. Anyone coming through after 1:00 PM will be asked to be shuttled to the finish line for their safety. To make the cut off you must cover at least 2.5 miles per hour. Registration/Check-in: 10:15 -10:45 AM Bus leaves: 11:00 AM The 2 Mile Trail Walk for those who are looking for a low to moderate “in the woods” experience. It is mainly off-road and on flat terrain. Training: If you can walk comfortably at a slow to moderate pace on a treadmill or track, for a half hour to forty minutes, you will be ready to enjoy this activity. Please note that there will be a registration cap for this event. Be sure to register early.

The walk takes place on a paved country road, with an optional 1/2 mile trail finish. This walk is also great for strollers! Please note that there will be a registration cap for this event.
