About This Race

The Clear Lake Freedom 5K presented by Kingland is the 5th annual race held on Main Avenue starting at N 3rd Street. The out-and-back route runs entirely on Main Avenue and kicks off the city's 4th of July events ahead of the 10AM parade. The first 450 registrants receive a performance t-shirt, and medals go to the overall male and female finishers plus the top three in each age group. The event is hosted by the Clear Lake Cross Country Team with all proceeds benefiting the program.

This race will start at 3rd & Main with an out and back style route completely on Main Street. Runners will head East down Main Street and turn around just past the I-35 overpass. The top 3 finishers in each age group will be awarded a race medal!
