About This Race

The Firecracker 5K is a USA Track and Field sanctioned chip-timed race produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. The course winds throughout The Woodlands Waterway, providing a scenic route in a festive patriotic atmosphere. The race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Awards are provided for overall male and female and the top three in each gender age group.

Packet Pickup Tuesday, June 30, 2026 and Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at The Woodlands Township Townhall Board Chambers, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., Noon to 6 p.m.
