6th Annual Mogadishu Mile Kentucky at Queenslake Horse Farm
The 6th Annual Mogadishu Mile Kentucky — the first and finest Mogadishu Mile event in the Bluegrass State. When we established the Mogadishu Mile in Kentucky, we didn't just host a race. We built an experience worthy of the 19 soldiers it honors. Six years later, we're still setting the standard. The Mogadishu Mile Challenge is a 1.8-mile military-style obstacle course spread across a sprawling 140-acre farm and a 40-acre lake, and 19 plaques along the course to honor the fallen at Queenslake Horse Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky. Participants navigate tire flips, ball slams, box jumps, push-ups, hay bale carries, chain drags, ammo can carries, a water crossing, and a wooded trail run before crossing the finish line. You may compete as an individual or as a team. Rucking (carrying a weighted pack) is encouraged but not required. All fitness levels are welcome — this event is about showing up and honoring the fallen, not finishing first. After you cross the finish line, the celebration begins. Runners enjoy free laser treatments, massage, and tattoos at the finish line village. Then stay for the live music festival on our custom 40x30 stage — a full afternoon of music, food, and community honoring American freedom. The highlight of the day: the Friesian Horse Salute and Tribute to the 19 — a solemn and breathtaking ceremony honoring each of the soldiers lost on October 3, 1993. Check-in opens at 7:00 AM. The challenge begins at 8:00 AM. We were the first to bring Mogadishu Mile to Kentucky. Come see why we're still the best.
