The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will start at the same time at 9:00 a.m.

1 Mile Fun Run: For those who prefer a shorter distance or want to enjoy a leisurely stroll, our 1 Mile Fun Run is the perfect option. This non-competitive event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Charity Cause: By participating in our Born to Run Race (5k + 1 mile fun run), you are directly contributing to a meaningful mission. All proceeds from this event will benefit Mary's Helping Hands, an organization dedicated to providing hope, love and support for expecting mothers, fathers and caregivers who may need a helping hand with basic needs for their child’s first two years of life. We do this by providing basic necessities such as clothing, diapers and wipes at no cost.  Your participation will make a difference in the lives of those in need and help create a brighter future for our community.

Professionally timed event to include chip timing, live online results, finish line video and much more.

Packet pickup @ Fitness Sports (8810 Swanson Blvd, Clive, IA 50325) TBD, or on Saturday, Nov 14th, day of race, @ Confluence Brewing Co from 8:00-8:30 am.

*Day of registration will be available from 8:00- 8:30 at an increased cost. It is HIGHLY encouraged to register in advance for this event as we expect it to fill up!

Welcome festivities: The event will end at 12:00 PM CT. 

Giveaways: (the most important part, right?) TBD - past swag has included a t-shirt or branded beanie as well as many local coupons.

Additional info: Everyone is welcome whether you are an avid runner or just looking to get some fresh air. Walkers are encouraged as well for both the 5k and 1 mile run.  Running/jogging strollers are recommended. We welcome dogs, but require them to be on leash at all times. 

Family pricing is automatically applied for 4 or more with each entry saving $5.
