About This Race

The Hokie Half Marathon and 5K is held each fall in Blacksburg, Virginia. The half marathon course runs the first three miles on roads, then six miles along the Huckleberry Bike Trail before returning to roads and bike trails, with water and Gatorade every two miles and a Gu station at mile seven. Finishers earn a Hokie Bird finisher medal, and a free Hokie Kids Fun Run lets families complete 13.1 cumulative miles before race day.
