About This Race
The Iron Horse 4 Miler raises funds for the ALS Ride for Life to support patient services at the Stony Brook Neuromuscular Disease and Christopher Pendergast ALS Center of Excellence. The event is the 4th race in the Sayville Summer Series and is held at the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville. It includes a 4 mile run, a 2 mile walk, a kids 50-meter sprint, and a virtual option, along with a stroller division and cash awards. The first 250 registrants are guaranteed a comfort colors t-shirt.

Awards to the top three finishers from ages 10 and under, then 5-year age groups up to 85+. Cash awards for Sally's Sprint to the Finish and the Stroller Division.

Early packet pickup at Sayville Running Company (35 Overton Ave Sayville) Thursday July 3rd from noon until 7:00pm; race morning at Long Island Maritime Museum from 7:00am.
