About This Race

Ben's Memorial Mile & Community Festival is an annual one-mile road race and community music festival held at Fishel Park in Downers Grove, IL. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it raises money and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention in honor of Ben Silver. The day includes a little kids' 100-meter run, an open/walking mile, an elite mile, live music, and a free festival.

This is a FREE 100-meter run for the little ones. Just show up with your child at the starting line (100 meters west of the finish line on Grove Street) at 5:30 PM!
