About This Race
Race the Mesa is a trail run at Crownpoint Elementary School in Crownpoint, New Mexico, held to honor past, present, and future veterans of the Navajo Nation. The out-and-back course features a mix of pavement, dirt, and rocky trails, with 10K, 5K, and 1-Mile distances. Participants can submit a veteran's name to be printed on the race shirt in recognition of their service.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Water checkpoints available at the 5K and 10K turnaround points; runners encouraged to bring water hydration packs.
Awards
Top 3 Overall Male and Female in 10K and 5K each receive a Pottery Water Jug.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Packet Pick-Up July 24th from 4pm to 8pm at Crownpoint Flea Market and day of race 6:30am to 7:45am.
Medical Support
Medical support and security provided by Crownpoint Emergency Medical Services and the Navajo Nation Police Department.
