About This Race
The Turkey Trek is Arvada's beloved Thanksgiving weekend race, held at Long Lake Regional Park along the Ralston Creek Trail. Participants can choose from a 13.1-mile Half Turkey, 10K Turkey Trek, 5K Turkey Trot, or 2K Turkey Toddle (untimed). The course features an uphill climb with an Egg Nog Chug Challenge at the 3-mile summit, a hay bale hop, and a Fill Your Pie Hole pumpkin pie challenge near the finish. Every finisher receives a performance hoodie, and Half Turkey finishers earn a commemorative mug. The event benefits Community Table, a local food bank serving Arvada and surrounding communities.
