About This Race
IRONMAN Florida is a full-distance triathlon held annually in Panama City Beach, Florida, along the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and is a perennial favorite for athletes seeking a personal best on its famously flat course. The swim takes place in the Gulf of Mexico over two loops with a short beach run between laps, while the single-loop bike course traverses the flat Florida Panhandle roads with minimal climbing.
