About This Race
The Jack-O-Jog is Marshall Rotary Club's Halloween-themed community fun run lighting up the streets of downtown Marshall each October. The one-mile walking loop and 5K fun run (three loops of the same course) wind through 7th and 8th streets strung with hanging pumpkins, lights, and Halloween decorations, creating a festive evening atmosphere. Costumes are strongly encouraged. A free two-block kids dash welcomes younger runners, who take home goodie bags packed with wearable safety items for trick-or-treating. Adult participants receive a participation medal and T-shirt.
