Fleet Feet Fall Classic - Trail October 18th, 2026

The Fleet Feet Fall Classic – Trail is a challenging trail running event set in the spectacular single-track terrain of Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, California. Two distance options cater to different goals: the Half Marathon sends runners on a 13.1-mile journey with 1,600 feet of elevation gain concentrated in the first half, rewarding the early climb with a predominantly downhill second leg; the 4-Mile Endurance Challenge invites participants to tackle hourly loops of a four-mile circuit for up to eight hours, covering as many as 32 miles. Both courses depart from Annies Trail, weave through creek crossings and forested single-track via Yahi Trail, and finish near the Bidwell Golf Course. Organized by Fleet Feet Chico, the event supports Chico Velo's Trailworks trail maintenance program and benefits fire academy cadets who volunteer for on-course safety. A cotton-blend t-shirt from Upper Park Clothing Co. and a post-race breakfast burrito are included for all registered participants.
