About This Race
The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon is an annual event held in Bemidji, Minnesota that takes runners around the scenic shores of Lake Bemidji along paved trails and roads through Lake Bemidji State Park and the Paul Bunyan State Trail. The USATF-certified marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier with approximately 300 feet of total elevation gain, and also offers a 26K Lake Loop, Half Marathon, 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Runs. All finishers receive a locally made medal and a free 10 oz. beer from Bemidji Brewing.
