About This Race
The Golden Gallop returns for its milestone 20th edition, bringing the spirit of the West to downtown Golden, Colorado. Runners take on a scenic 5K or 10K through the heart of this historic mountain town, passing under the iconic Golden Welcome Arch and soaking in views that only Colorado can offer. For those craving an extra challenge, a 20K hybrid option is available. The event is dog-friendly for the 5K and 10K, cash prizes reward top finishers, and a spaghetti dinner at the Golden Hotel caps off race day. All proceeds support the Golden Schools Foundation, which channels roughly $50,000 annually to seven local neighborhood schools.
