Mogollon Monster 100

The Mogollon Monster 100 is a rugged Arizona trail ultramarathon organized by Aravaipa Running, traversing the dramatic Mogollon Rim near the small town of Pine, approximately 90 minutes northeast of Phoenix. The 102.3-mile course climbs the Rim on six separate occasions, never dropping below 5,200 feet or rising above 8,000 feet, earning a reputation for relentless technical difficulty across multiple ecosystems from high desert scrubland to ponderosa pine forest. The 2026 edition is a qualifier for both Hardrock 100 and Western States 100, and all 100-mile entrants are required to have completed at least one prior 50-mile race and eight hours of volunteer trail work.
