About This Race
The NYCRUNS Squirrel Stampede 10K is held on Governors Island, historically called Nutten Island for its nut-bearing trees, offering an escape from urban chaos with scenic views of New York Harbor. This seventh annual event features a USATF-certified two-loop course with free ferry transportation included for runners and guests.
