About This Race
The Never Summer 100km and 60km are high-alpine mountain ultras set in Colorado's State Forest State Park between the Never Summer Mountains and the Medicine Bow Range near Cameron Pass. The 100km (65.7 miles) packs 14,500 feet of gain across 24 hours, while the 60km (39.2 miles) offers 8,100 feet of gain in a 15-hour window. Both courses feature extended stretches of ridge running, cross-country sections, and technical terrain. The 100km qualifies for the Western States 100 lottery for finishers under 23 hours, and a Dirty Double option challenges runners to complete both distances back-to-back.
