About This Race
The Michigan Spartan Event Weekend descends on Cannonsburg Ski Area just 20 minutes from Grand Rapids, where steep climbs, fast descents, and gritty sand pits across more than 11 miles of rugged terrain await Sprint, Super, and Beast competitors across July 18-19, 2026. The ski resort setting creates a dynamic course with natural elevation change, densely wooded trails, and the signature Spartan obstacles that have made Cannonsburg one of the Midwest's most popular obstacle race venues. Kids Race options make the weekend accessible for the whole family.
