About This Race
The Jamesport Triathlon is a sprint triathlon set on the scenic North Fork of Long Island, produced by RaceAwesome and held at South Jamesport Beach on Peconic Bay. Athletes begin with a 500-meter open-water swim in the bay's clear waters, transition to a 25-kilometer bike leg winding through charming North Fork towns, villages, and working farmlands, and finish with a 5-kilometer run through the seaside community. The event offers a wide range of categories including individual adult and high school divisions, relay teams, AquaBike, and a virtual option. Charity slots benefit Cohen's Children's Medical Center.
