IRONMAN 70.3 Ruidoso-New Mexico

The inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Ruidoso New Mexico brings the first IRONMAN-branded event to New Mexico with a stunning high-elevation race weekend in the Sierra Blanca Mountain range on July 11-12, 2026. Athletes swim in the pristine Grindstone Lake, ride 56 miles through Ruidoso and out toward Hondo along mountain roads with wide-open vistas and exhilarating climbs, then run through the charming village and scenic mountain neighborhoods to a finish line in the heart of Midtown Ruidoso. The weekend festival also includes the 5150 Ruidoso and a Sprint triathlon for shorter distances, with the 70.3 offering qualifying slots for the 2027 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
