Waitsfield Race

The Mad Marathon, Mad Half, Relays, 5K and 10K is held in Waitsfield, Vermont and is billed as the World's Most Beautiful Marathon, running through breathtaking Vermont countryside on dirt roads with stunning views of the Green Mountains, farmlands, charming villages, and fields of Vermont cows. Starting from the Mad River Green in central Waitsfield Village, runners loop through the surrounding countryside before finishing on Bridge Street. The USATF-certified marathon course is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Chip timing is provided by Granite State Race Services.
