Independence Day Road Race - Boston

The Independence Day Road Race in Boston is part of a national series celebrating the Fourth of July across 12 major U.S. cities. The Boston edition takes place in South Boston with a vibrant, music-filled 4-mile course past prominent waterfront landmarks, finishing beside historic Fort Independence on Castle Island. A 1-Mile Kids Run is also offered, starting at 8:30 AM. The event welcomes runners and families of all fitness levels for a morning of patriotic camaraderie on one of America's most historically significant waterfronts. A charity fundraising component benefits the American Cancer Society through the event's DonorDrive platform.
