About This Race
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a fast, flat 5K through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The Independence Day Road Race is part of a national series spanning 12 major U.S. cities, bringing communities together each year on July 4th. Runners follow John F. Kennedy Drive past iconic park landmarks on a course known for its quick, welcoming atmosphere. A Kids 1-Mile Run rounds out the morning, making this a true family celebration.
