About This Race
The New England Spartan Event Weekend returns June 27-28, 2026 to Carter and Stevens Farm in Barre, Massachusetts, a lush working farm set amid rolling hills that offers an abundance of mud, woods, and challenging elevation changes. Sprint and Super racers tackle obstacles including Atlas Carry, Rope Climb, Hercules Hoist, Spear Throw, Barbed Wire Crawl, and rolling mud pits across natural farm terrain, with a Hurricane Heat 4-hour challenge available for endurance-focused athletes. After finishing, racers can celebrate at the Carter and Stevens Farm Store with homemade ice cream and fresh farm products, or head to Stone Cow Brewery for a post-race beer.
